SS LONG OVAL EARRINGS WITH TINY GARDEN, CREAM

Long, thin ovals are enameled and embellished with millefiori wafers, creating a tiny garden. 

The drop is hung from a sterling silver lever back ear wire. 

Finished size 3" x .5"

Enamel is glass fused to metal. I heat copper shapes with a torch and dip the hot metal into superfine crushed glass. The piece is then returned to the heat to complete the fusing process. This process is repeated several times until the color is rich and even. 

Tiny millefiori wafers are placed on the hot enamel. As the heat travels through the pice, the wafers melt into tiny flowers.
