SS MINI WASHER EARRING WITH MILLEFIORI MOSAIC, PINK

Small enamel washer with millefiori mosaic detail. The small washer is hung from a mini sterling silver kidney wire.

Enamel is glass fused to metal. I heat copper shapes with a torch and dip the hot metal into superfine crushed glass. The piece is then returned to the heat to complete the fusing process. This process is repeated several times until the color is rich and even. 

Tiny millefiori wafers are placed on the hot enamel. As the heat travels through the pice, the wafers melt into tiny flowers.
